Phil, sometimes, in quilting, you just don’t have the right scraps. And no matter how much effort you put in, you make a quilt that looks like this. And you worked so hard on it and you trick yourself into thinking it’s beautiful and you display it proudly in the entryway on you divan. And then your friend Barbara comes over a few days later, and she tells you that she thinks it’s best if you fold it up and put it in the closet. You see what I’m saying now? I think it’s time we put this quilt in the closet.
