I’m really bothered whenever I see people refer to George Lucas as “lazy” for deciding not to continue the saga back in the 80′s and retconning Leia into being Luke’s twin. Something can be said about “lazy writing” involved in backing out of a setup that was originally meant to be more drawn out and better established, BUT
It’s a well known fact that making those movies took a lot of work and George Lucas actually suffered health problems from the stress of working on A New Hope. He was diagnosed with hypertension and exhaustion.
But keep on casting shade at that and calling it lazy.
