i was going to make a big cute donation post with pictures of blossom and a little blurb with blossom talking like “hi my name is blossom!” but actually i’m just going to say like:
i took blossom to the vet because she was over grooming herself and had scratched away a giant bleeding lesion on her neck. the total of the visit came out to $400 because of necessary blood work and skin samples. because she’s already on so much medication and because a traumatized cat from a hoarding situation before i got her, blossom is feral around the vets and they’re unable to do the tests they need to find out how her health is doing and if they can take her off her medications. she’s been given flea prevention, and is on a dose of clartin and prednisone every day. i love her more than anything in this life and she has quiet literally stopped me from killing myself.
they had to sedate her on thursday and i dont have an estimate of how much that will be. i have $200 in my paypal for emergencies, but if today’s visit was $400 then i don’t know what to tell you.
i dont even know how much i’m asking for i’m just asking for help.
