Anakin Skywalker was born in slavery yet despite hardship of life, he was very sensitive to the suffering of others, including rats, droids and (hated by everyone) Tusken Raides. I know that some people bash prequels and little Anakin, but seriously this is a kid who one day became Darth Vader. Think how many things went wrong for this kind, caring boy to change into merciless lord of Sith.
