I have a very special place in my heart for J.M. Matteis’s Harry. He’s…yeah, to be honest, I’d say he’s the definitive version for me. Somewhere in my bookshelf there’s a Spider-Man book with some really great quotes from him about how he went about writing Harry, and I really need to dig them out sometime.
As for worst…there are still so many versions of the character I’ve never seen, but yeah…Amazing Spider-Man 2 was still the worst for me. Hopefully nothing will beat that. I just really, really hope the upcoming Marvel re-re-boot won’t make the same mistakes…
