I just realised where Kylo got his name from:
Ky = sKYwalker
Lo = soLO
Ren = literally just his birth name with an R
which means that when he was choosing his super scary Dark Lord name, he just mashed up the surnames of the most positive figures in his life. poor sod can’t even evil right

CORRECTION: 2nd two letters of his GRANDFATHER’S or UNCLE’S last name (assuming this theory is canon). Leia was born Leia Amidala Skywalker but was raised an orphan by a completely different family, hence why she became a princess and as such was Princess Leia ORGANA- which she never changed, even after finding out about Luke being her brother, ect- which is further emphasized by the fact that her marital name with Han is Leia ORGANA Solo and that she is referred to as General Leia Organa in TFA.
If you’re new to the Star Wars fandom, at least do a little basic research on the biggest characters in the entire series before making “revealing” posts about it. Or, you know, watch the other movies besides TFA.
Well, I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m talking about Luke (i.e. the guy who trained Ben) as possible inspiration for the Skywalker part, and Leia and Han combined for the Solo part, since as you say Leia shares “Solo” as a last name occasionally. The three most positive figures, presumably, in Kylo/Ben’s life.
