Am I the only one who took that ‘voices’ line in the Suicide Squad trailer to be Harley Quinn mocking her captors/handlers/whatevers, rather than her saying she actually does hear voices?
I presumed that was the point? She was mocking their presumptions about her? It seems like the sort of thing Harley would say to mess with people. (Her origin story involves her being a psychiatrist – I think – so it seems fitting that she would have no time for and even actively mock and use against other people the kind of assumptions and pop diagnosis that many people would make about her.)
I hope that’s the case, even though I’ve got nothing more to go on then “her voice/body language seemed pretty mocking”
