Incidentally, if this was a real movie and I was pitching it, I would describe it something like “The Martian meets Apollo 13 meets Pacific Rim” because the thing all three of those movies have in common is a sense of OPTIMISM! about space exploration and new technology, as well as the theme that co-operation is the thing that will progress/save humankind more than anything else
….and also because no-one ever said a Thunderbirds movie couldn’t have giant alien ocean lizards in it
