K so actually fuck everyone who thought that Hell Bent was good.
There are so many reasons why it is whit, and I mean if you’re of the classic who fandom then everything that Moffat wrote about Time Lord lore should have made you red in the face. It’s such a fucking disgrace but for some reason everyone fucking praises him.
Er…no? I’ve devoured classic and EU Who and I adored Hell Bent. A fantastic character piece with nice flourishes of gander mythos that added to without defining the story. And guess what? There is absolutely nothing wrong with me liking it. 10/10, and I can’t wait to watch it again.
Also part of the Classic fandom, and I agree. First, it actually agreed with the lore pretty well considering the coherence of that lore (or lack thereof), and secondly, ticking off bullet points is not the key to a good story.
And thirdly, saying ‘fuck everyone who liked X’ in place of ‘I didn’t like X’ is really fucking rude
