I did like Simon Pegg once (and I still love Hot Fuzz) but he’s starting to give Star Wars fans a bad name now–
[and it really annoys me that he, a guy who’s virtually built a career out of hating ½ of a thing gets to be the spokesperson for that thing, while the girls who actually do like the thing are forever stuck with the fake-geek-girl/not-really-part-of-the-club label]
[can we stop making him the face of geekdom and start making him the face of male fandom gatekeeping instead? Any takers?]
