Did anyone actually read this article? This says they got into a fight in Germany and they were arguing and he repeatedly tried to walk away from her and continuously said that he wouldn’t put his hands on a woman but was being pushed. He was asked what was wrong by onlookers and while drunk said “I had to leave, or I would have killed her.” The only source that has ever reported him to put his hands on her is a TABLOID. That same tabloid, the same one referenced in this article, doesn’t even present anything to back up their claim of abuse. Their evidence is saying that he had a hand injury and she reportedly had a black eye.
I’m not trying to defend him, I’m just saying that calling someone an abusive piece of shit for saying they might have killed someone after an intense public argument where said person was refusing to give them their shit AND where they fully removed themselves from the situation is absurd. If anyone has any actual proof of his abuse then gone right ahead and send them my way + I’ll take a seat.

Yeah I’ve been wondering about this cuz’ I haven’t seen any sources for the black eye bit that WEREN’T suspicious tabloid links and considering that he’s a victim of rape by a goddamn woman and shit it would be especially fucking disgusting of you guys to pull a smear campaign calling him an abuser of women without definite evidence that he deserves it. Was there ever a police report? Did his ex ever come forward herself and say “Yeah this happened?” I’m not saying it didn’t happen, just that I’m not going to believe suspicious sources when there’s no actual statement from the alleged victim or anything.

OP has instead fallen back on “well I’m neuro-atypical and Shia having PTSD and being a rape victim isn’t an excuse for him being an abuser” and is trying to make themselves the victim after posting tabloid gossip as if it’s fucking fact.

I had to do some research on this incident once for my real job. General consensus was that although the verbal argument certainly took place, even the celebrity gossip websites say any sort of physical assault was only something that ‘reportedly’ happened and was related by ‘a source’. And the only source – the one that all the other sites linked back to – about the black eye was that German tabloid. So take that as you will, I guess.
(However, the story about him drunkenly sexually assaulting Alan Cumming, another one I’ve seen going round, is true according to Cumming himself although he seems to have taken it in jest.)
BUT also LaBeouf definitely seems to be fighting some sort of mental illness. Which doesn’t excuse some of the (confirmed) shit he’s done, but might explain it…
