Watching old Thunderbirds without the hazy glow of nostalgia is weird. You can still see what an amazing technical achievement the show was and the characters are great, but it keeps blindsiding you with sudden 60s sexism and racial stereotypes…plus, man, do the stories take a long time to get going. There’s usually twenty minutes of puppet carnage before any of the actual Thunderbirds even come out.
