My name is Angie. I’m a 20 year old bed bound woman with a spinal injury, facing imminent homelessness. I was evicted from my subsidised apartment on 22ndApril and will need to pay very unaffordable private rent in the coming 6 months.
I also have nursing invoices totalling $4044.20 (link) and a patient transport invoice of $2101. I need help to pay these urgently, or my medical and nursing care will cease. These costs are also ongoing – the stated transport costs are similar for all regular medical consultations, and my nursing care costs at least $340/week. The sooner I can pay for a full diagnosis, the sooner I can apply for government support.
I currently do not have enough savings to continue paying for my accommodation and healthcare. If I become homeless, that will be life threatening to me. Please consider donating even a small amount.
