It’s interesting how in Death In Heaven, everyone refers to the Master’s previous incarnations as ‘she’ as well. (“She wasn’t the worst Prime Minister we’ve ever had” or whatever the line was.)
Obviously this is only applicable in a very vague sense, but I kinda took it as a nice “hey, this is how pronouns should work after a person’s transitioned” line.
