That gifset about Thor 2 passing the Bechdel Test got me thinking:

What are your personal criteria for something passing the Bechdel Test? Because I have a feeling they vary from person to person. Does the conversation have to be more than (say) four lines long? More than six? Does it count if one of the woman’s responses are nonverbal (shrugs, glares…)? If the two women were talking about a male monster or a male baby or a robot that called itself ‘he’, does that count as the conversation being ‘about a man’? What if one of the women is an important presence in the story but for whatever thematic reason doesn’t have a name? (since the Bechdel Test critera usually read ‘two or more named women’) And so on. There’s so many questions.
