Complaining that Moffat’s companions (or RTD’s, for that matter) are ‘all the same character’ just because they have some heroic traits in common is like saying that Superman, Batman, Spider-Man and Iron Man are all the same character just because they’re all brave, witty, good-hearted superheroes with no parents.
