Don’t get me wrong, I love a good ExR/Les Amis afterlife reunion as much as anyone, but, think of all the other afterlife possibilties
-Valjean meeting Felix Tholomyes and punching him in the face
-Fantine meeting the Thenardiers and punching them in the face
-Eponine and Gavroche waiting for the rest of their siblings, and finally having the childhood they never got
-Fantine and Cosette. Just…Fantine and Cosette
-Georges Pontmercy watching over Marius
–And being reunited with his old friend Mabeuf, who tells him all about how his son is doing now
-Feuilly meeting his (proud) parents
-Valjean’s long-dead family welcoming Cosette as a cousin
-Anyone meeting Javert
