(no subject)
Oh yes. This is something I’ve been meaning to talk about for weeks now-
I have finished writing a book. An actual book. All it’s missing is a title (and its other two parts, it’s meant to be a trilogy, but-)
It features, among other things:
-A post-zombie-uprising dystopia
-An awesome protagonist (well, I’m biased, but…) who is fifteen, mixed-race, essentially orphaned and with a heart defect that could kill her; and she is living in a world where all those things work against her to the point she suspects she has mere weeks left to live
-A traumatised, fearful, incredibly determined human superweapon who has been reduced (so people think) to a walking incubator, as she could provide a child or children who would help save the world
-That big grizzily white guy who glares from the front cover of most video games nowadays, except here he’s gay and he has a boyfriend
-An enormous zombie squid monster
-A deeply Christian transgender man clinging to his beliefs against unbelievable odds
-Several tragically doomed love stories
-A ton of other stuff
And now I gotta know, because I want so badly to make it a thing- who’s interested? Tell me, tell me, tell me.

Oh my gosh, that sounds like several different kinds of AMAZING, and definitely like something I’d love to see on my bookshelf!! Congrats to you on finishing it, that is a serious accomplishment! o/

Wow! You’re novel sounds awesome and I love the characters. They’re realistic and that’s important. It’s okay you don’t have a title yet. I’ve read some writers who don’t have a title while writing, and usually when it comes together, then they come up with a title. It sounds like something I would love to read. Are you going to submit it to a publisher or self-publish? I’m writing a book, too. It’s called “Suite #6” It’s about a couple who stay at a bed and breakfast inn . At first everything is normal until they find out the inn is really evil. Oh, and I posted an 11/Martha fic at Life on Martha. Let me know what you think? I really need feedback :)

Heh thank you very much! I’m gonna submit it to a publisher, their deadline is the end of the month, and I’ll see what happens from then. That sounds great, I shall watch out for your work! :D

Yes yes yes. Now make it a published book. Createspace gives you templates & puts the finished product up for sale on Amazon; KDP does the same for the Kindle side. Both services are free & you earn royalties if you sell anything. So publish your book so we can buy copies.

*squeaks* Okay that sounds very exciting! I’m gonna look into all that (I don’t actually have a Kindle though, eep.) :D I have one publisher I’m going to submit it to but if they say no (and I’m assuming the first few publishers will say no, everyone says getting a book published is haaaard) I CERTAINLY will go to Amazon, it looks great! (Thank you! :D)
