let’s hope for BAFTAS to pour on ALL THIS CAST AND CREWDoes Olivia Colman actually have a BAFTA yet? Because I can’t think of anyone who deserves one more right now! But oh yes, I’ll be amazed if Broadchurch doesn’t get a heap of awards after this, it managed to keep the entire nation guessing for eight weeks!
It would be a complete disgrace if she doesn’t, after all her contribution to British television, how?? Why?? Are there really rumours abour Chibnall taking over WHO, after Steven retires?? (Chibnall’s episodes under Moffat’s “reign” are my favourite because he might be the only one knowing how to deal with Rory without pushing him on the margin, or treating him as additional and easily redundant comic relief or giving him few moments to shine just to reduce him to random guy tagging along in the following scenes, and generally can Chibnall and Darvill be a thing because the way he writes for Arthur makes him shine so gloriously, *yay for my one track mind*, nope but really, Chibnall’s episodes really saves the day IMO and he the way he balances comedy with good thriller and juicy drama is just genius <333).
There have been rumours! I think it’s a possibility. And yes, he wrote Rory brilliantly (the scenes between him and Alaya in the Hungry Earth episodes are some of my favourites…)
OH GOD OLIVIA DESERVES A BAFTA. She’s been brilliant in everything I’ve ever seen her in…tell you what, bring her back to Doctor Who as an actual companion, have Chibnall write her episodes…bring back Rory and Amy as complicated flashback ghosts… *flails*
