That was actually geniunely freaky with the ghost and the flickering lights and the camera jumping around like crazy and the VERY BRIEF SHOTS of the monster and THE MONSTER WASN’T MOVING RIGHT WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT THING IT WOULDN’T HAVE LOOKED OUT OF PLACE IN SUPERNATURAL IN FACT I THOUGHT I SAW IT IN SUPERNATURAL WHAT THE HECK

Anyway yes. Clara got a lovely little what I’m starting to call ‘the The End Of The World moment’ where the companion suddenly realises how small she is compared to time and space and history, and it was done really well, v. good acting. Plus herfromouttaCallTheMidwife/Emma’s description of Clara as ‘more scared than she’s letting on’ seems to be utterly accurate, I really hope we get an episode of her going back to Earth and seeing her family soon, seeing just how much she’s changed.

Two lovers stuck in opposite dimensions…REMIND YOU OF ANYTHING? I bet it reminded the Doctor. Also I bet that if they hadn’t offically announced Rose was coming back for the anniversary, we’d all be expecting it anyway by now.

I was absolutely shipping Hila and Emma for the five seconds before they turned out to be related.
