Doctor Who: The Bells Of St John
(help I still don’t quite get the title? I mean I know what it referred to but it’s still an odd title. Couldn’t they have called it, “Clara Oswald For The Win”?)
-Are we all agreed that the woman who gave Clara the number to call was in fact River Song?
-Amy became a writer and Clara likes her books and JUST. ARGH. I’d have very much liked the Doctor to actually notice the book, though.
-Okay I kind of love that Clara isn’t raring to go straight away and abandon (sort of) the children in her care? Also, there was a reference to ‘Nina’!
-The flirting on Clara’s part feels VERY VERY shoehorned in
-So many pretty shots of London yes I approve
All in all it was very good. It certainly has Promise.

That book Clara looks at was written by Amelia Williams! She became a writer! I flailed.

Also “Summer Falls”? If it was RTD I would have thought that was a reference to Dark Season & Century Falls.

I thought it might have been a reference to the tremendous amount of falling off things that Moffat’s characters do…

I sort of guessed the woman in the shop was Sally Sparrow. Did you think Clara was flirting? I would have said it was more in the banter stage. She was sort of teasing him with the whole snog-box thing, like she didn’t sound like she was really going in for it. It was a pretty fun episode overall. :D

…Ooooh, I didn’t think of her! I should have done since she actually owns a shop… Hmmm I’m not sure. Victorian!Clara was definitely flirting, but this Clara was maybe more…testing the water? I dunno. Be interesting to see what happens when River shows up… It was! :D
