Rory Williams character study: What Rory lost
On the left, there’s a deleted scene from Cold Blood, found in The Brilliant Book Of Doctor Who. (There’s some pictures of it floating around too, so I think they did actually film it.) I really, really wish they’d kept it in, because not only is it a nice bit of character development, but it makes The God Complex even more tragic- Rory had faith once and then he lost it. Did he lose it the day he lost his daughter? Probably.
Rory did have some faith, the non-religious kind…he had faith in Amy after all. But I think after he lost Melody, he never believed in the greatness of the universe again.
