Kassim Alhimidi wept over the body of his wife, Shaima Alawadi, at a prayer ceremony on Tuesday. She died after being found severely beaten in her home near San Diego.

sometimes, things happen that affect me very deeply because it involves something i care a lot about.
guys, this is a really big deal to me. i teach international students. half of my students speak arabic, are muslim, and wear headscarves. i am really, really upset at this happening to one of my students, because they are wonderful people and i care about them a lot.
