I’m gonna go with ‘family and friendships’ I reckon.
Overall thoughts
I love my OCs. Is it normal, to love your OCs? I’m glad the days of ‘Mary Sue’-ing are over… Cos Mal Young from Character Assassination, I love her so much. I love Khalid too, from the same story. When writing Estuary I quickly became very very fond of Julia, and of course I love Alec and Johnny, my (basically Jossed now) kids for the Ponds. I may yet write a story where River is their sister, though.
My best story of the year
I really like The Children’s Story. But I love Character Assassination because I thought it had a new take on Harry Potter. Whether it actually did…I don’t know.
Story of mine most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion
I really wish Character Assassination had sparked a debate, or something. Basically the treatment of non-magic-users in Harry Potter always bugged me, but instead of writing an essay I wrote a fic. This happens a lot. (Coming up next: instead of an essay about how creepy and nasty Simon was in Series One of Misfits, a fanfic where he confesses to Kelly what he did and things are discussed. I guess I just prefer fiction to talking about stuff.)
Most fun story to write
Ooh…I think Estuary.
Story with the single sexiest moment
None! I think. Although I like the bit in Character Assassination where Khalid and Mal sort of nearly have sex.
Most ‘holy crap, that’s wrong, even for you’ story

I always liked Mels, but after Estuary and The Last Day I loved her to bits.
Hardest story to write

Biggest disappointment
That no-one loved Mal Young as much as I did.
Biggest surprise
That a lot of things were not just Jossed, but VERY Jossed.
Most unintentionally telling story
Character Assassination. I think it made me think more about hate and revenge.
