There was a conversation at work today that went a little bit like this:
ME (flying toy helicopter)
CUSTOMER I thought you were a boy in disguise.

CUSTOMER Cos those are boy’s gadgets.
ME Say wut?
CUSTOMER Not saying you look like a boy or anything.
ME Thanks…
IN OTHER NEWS: The Doctor Who spoiler. I have a theory. The Ponds will leave heartbreakingly, because they’ll die. But of natural causes, having lived long and mostly happy lives. The Doctor was too late for Reinette and she died without him, but the Doctor will be there for Amy, and probably Rory too, when they pass on. ALSO I STARTED WRITING A FANFIC ABOUT THIS BEFORE THIS SPOILER WAS ANNOUCED, so expect it in a few days.

LOL I just posted a couple days ago about how people mistake me for a guy online and one girl said I look like Ben Barnes.

I used to get mistaken for a boy when I was very young and had short hair…

In high school I used to have very short hair, and the kindergartners at my church’s after school program always thought I looked like a boy, which was amusing. They also thought my brother was blind because his glasses had transition lenses, and apparently only blind people wear sunglasses? :P But how are helicopters boys’ toys? :/

That’s what I thought!

I AM TOTALLY BEHIND THIS IDEA FOR THE PONDS. Here via who_daily.

Thank ye! :D

I am totally behind natural-death-after-a-long-and-happy-life as the Ponds’ exit. They deserve a fantastic life, and the Doctor can never have too much angst!
December 16, 2011 @ 6:51 pm
After all they’ve been through, they deserve to have nothing but happiness for Series Seven… *shakes fist at Moffat, curses*

They thought you were a boy because you were flying a toy helicopter and that is because they’re boy’s toys? Sorry, but that is completely stupid. And I’ve to say I have no problems with Rory and Amy dying if they’ve lived a long and happy life.

I know right? I want the Ponds to be happy. :(
