Doctor Who Christmas Special prequel
I do like it, but shouldn’t River be first and foremost on the Doctor’s mind now, not Amy? I do love that he still thinks about her, but River’s his wife, dude. If you’re gonna die, call her!
On that note: has the Doctor ever told River he loves her? He hasn’t, has he? Have Amy and Rory ever told their daughter they love her? I hope they have during an offscreen meeting, but…

See, I was wondering why he didn’t call her, but then I and some other people were speculating that he was just calling the TARDIS. Like, he assumed he had a companion there, and he assumed it was Amy. It’d probably be harder to get ahold of River.

I did wonder about that if only because River CAN FLY THE DAMN TARDIS. But she doesn’t have a phone number or something.

I just figured the Tardis can forward the call to River, she can hop into the Tardis with her vortex manipulator, locate him and get him out. Although, yeah, I did wonder why he was calling for Amy. Other than the one trip to the lake he hadn’t seen her in 200 years! I sincerely hope Amy is gone. I want to see 11 working with some new Companions. I don’t want his whole tenure to be taken up with the same Companions all the time. I did think the prequel was well made though, lots packed in there for such a short shot. And 11 is hilarious as usual. :D

I want Amy around for as long as possible! And Rory and River. I love them so. This has definately got me excited for the Special however…
