Doctor Who: The Almost People
HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE LEAST KID-FRIENDLY FAMILY SHOW EEEEEVER
HUGE PILE OF DEAD MELTING BODIES WTF
AMMMMMMMMMMMY. Just to establish, she wasn’t a ganger leading an indepedent life, like Jennifer and the others were, she was more an avatar, right? Controlled by the real Amy, just not her physically. Which explains how she can be pregnant and not pregnant at the same time.
DUDE, BABY, WAT. She can’t have the baby, surely, cos…well, that would send Amy and Rory straight back to Leadworth, and yet we can safely assume that’s not gonna happen. Is it an alien baby? And wow, did anyone else get shades of the X-Files when Amy woke up in that white room?
Rory…I don’t like that his ganging (hah) with Jennifer could almost be a betrayal of Amy. When they were in that room and the door closed shutting Amy and the Doctor in, who closed it, Rory or Jennifer? If it was Jennifer, that makes me feel a bit better, because…dude, Rory would never ever everrrr put Amy in danger. That’s sort of a big thing.
If the ganger Doctor and the real Doctor were switched from the beginning, does that mean it was the real Doctor pushing Amy up against the wall? Because that kind of…doesn’t sit well.
OMG A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR. Who’s seen the prequel? Because it kind of hints that the Doctor is the father of the child. (Whether it was concieved by traditional means, however…) Anyway.

I don’t think Amy’s child is the Doctor’s at all. He was just explaining what a terribly bad idea it is to tick the Doctor off. In any case it’s pretty obvious who the baby is and what’s she’s going to do… well the latter is less certain but I have my theories.

My idea: Next episode, “A Good Man Goes to War”. River kills a “good man”, the “best man she ever knew”. For quite a few women, their father is the best man they ever knew. River is Rory and Amy’s daughter. In the next episode, River kills Rory (her own father), and goes to jail for it, setting up all the previous episodes with her in it. She probably doesn’t even know he’s her father until the end of the episode because to her it will be the first time she’s ever met them.
