Pondering Amy’s dialogue in Day Of The Moon…you know, that bit.

“I know you think it ought to be him,” bugs me somewhat, because I think we’ve gathered that there’s no way Rory would think his wife ought to be with someone else. Unless it’s just some sort of figure of speech, her latching on to Rory’s huge insecurity. I don’t know…

I wonder- and this is a really weird theory, but- I wonder if something is trying to split up Amy and Rory. If maybe the Silents made her sound like she loved the Doctor in a attempt to get Rory to leave her, because for some reason it’s incredibly important that Amy and Rory have a kid. Can Amy actually remember saying those things? Because it’s obvious something was happening to her during the time she was with the Silents…

The ‘fell out of the sky’ bit has me confused too…Amy says right out that it’s a figure of speech, but I’m so so sure there’s more to it. Someone suggested over at GB that maybe when little Amelia met Rory he fell out of a tree or something, which I heart because of the cuteness, but I can’t help wonder if we’re coming back to that. It would be such a Moffat thing to do, to make us all think there’s something weird about Amy and then have it be Rory we should’ve been paying attention to…
