Total Film calls Freema Agyeman ‘disappointing’ as an actress; I feel somewhat annoyed. Is it actually normal to react that way when someone you’ve never met is critized by a magazine that’s not all that good anyway?
Maybe I’m just concerned that she’ll become someone it’s cool to slag off (things I like generally suffer this fate, although I think that might say more about me) and soon I won’t be able to pick up a magazine without reading negative things about her. Which would suck, although I suppose it would save me money on magazines.

It’s very unfair, as we’ve only seen her as Martha, and I feel she was a poorly written character anyway, no-one seemed to know how to write her and I honestly feel that Freema Agyeman had nothing to work with. But apparently she’s doing some project for ITV instead of Torchwood, so hopefully we’ll see her stretch her wings and prove herself a bit.
