Went to see WALL-E today. It lives up to the high quality of all the other Pixar movies, and WALL-E himself is just the most adorable thing ever. I want one.
The short before the movie is brilliant, too. :)

That bunny had me cracking up something embarrasing. I loved it. Especially the 2001 music played over the Captain when he finally stands up, the “I didn’t know we had a pool” gags, and I just cried when EVE realised WALL-E didn’t remember her (which is right, but because it’s Disney, a happy ending must be achieved for all who are righteous and true, and so he remembers when he shouldn’t. Eesh.)

I love that bunny. so he remembers when he shouldn’t. Eesh. If he hadn’t though, it would have been…a somewhat controversial episode of a popular tv show (keeping it vague in case you haven’t seen it)…all over again. I can only take so much tragedy in my fiction. :p

Yeah, I can’t take two endings like that in one summer! It also wouldn’t be very Disney, and that’s what makes Disney so good – total escapism.
