Just saw John Barrowman on How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria. I’m going to be laughed at for saying this, but I actually found the whole thing throughly enjoyable.
I’m also going to be laughed at for saying I actually squeed at the trailer for Raven: The Island that followed it. ;) I can’t help it. It’s…like a gameshow that takes place in what could just about pass for Middle Earth*, with costumes and strange names and a Scottish bloke who occasionally changes into a raven. I loff it. And now there’s a new one, yay.
Oh, and I also found a job today. Very, very randomly.
*But is probably a small forest round the back of the studio.

I recorded Maria and just watched it now, purely for JB but I actually liked it, too. I liked Andrew Lloyd Webber’s face when watching some of the girls the panel put through XD. Raven, lmao. I’ve never seen a whole episode of that, but it always looks so… cheap XD. And isn’t the presenter just one of the normal CBBC ones with a stuck-on beard and a cloak? Yay job!

And isn’t the presenter just one of the normal CBBC ones with a stuck-on beard and a cloak? Yep. Which also makes me laugh. ;) I felt so sorry for some of those girls on Maria, although I reckon half the show is probably scripted. ;)

RAVEN!!! It’s the show I want to watch, but I can’t because every time I try I start laughing too damn hard. Possibly it’s crotch-hugging leather trousers.

Block out the leather trousers and watch for the pretty scenery and Quite Nice music instead. ;) (I wanted to go on that show so badly when I was younger. I guess everyone has a show like that. :) )

How long has Raven been going for? Knightmare was the equivalent when I was small – Like Raven, but indoorsy and with nerdier kids. ;)

Raven’s been going since…*goes to Wikipedia* 2002. During which I’d already have been too old for it. ;)
