Rose: ‘Can I get you anything?’
Alt-Jackie: ‘Yeah…the last twenty years back.’
In Real-Jackie’s timeline, Pete has been dead for roughly twenty years, depending on how old Rose actually is now. But by the end of the show, she has Pete back (a version of him, anyway), her daughter back- everything she ever wanted.
Rose did give her the last twenty years of her life back!
I swear all these thoughts wil be put in coherent essay format soon.

The Jackie-Pete thing is quite funny, actually, and I meant to post on this – the reunion made me happier than anything, and yet in both universes it wasn’t or didn’t work out (fighting all the time and cheating/getting a divorce). So in a way the baby!Tyler is almost a bzuh? moment…but I guess third time was the charm. :D

Naw, see, the reason Jackie and AlternaPete works is *because* they never worked with the ones from their own universes. Pete wasn’t quite right for Jackie, and AlternaJackie wasn’t quite right for AlternaPete. But, AlternaPete is successful yet still the Pete Jackie loved (and maybe better! We didn’t see the AlternaWedding, AlternaPete might’ve actually gotten the name right), and Jackie is not a raving bitch yet still comes with the tremendous rack. It’s a perfect match! Hooray!
