I have a rather major problem, y’all, and that problem is Torchwood. It’s on BBC3, and I can’t get BBC3. My mum paid for a digibox, and it was a waste of fuckin’ money. (Sorry, sore point)
It starts in August, doesn’t it? Damn, I really, really want to see it. But at this rate, I can’t- although heck, I’m willing to pay for the aerial upgrade or whatever it is you need. I’ve actually got an uncle who does that sort of thing for a living, but I’m too nervous to really ask him because I don’t see him as often as I’d like to and he’s probably busy.
Is anyone else in the same boat with regards to Freeview?

No, I’m fortunate enough to live in an NTL-equipped household, but I’d be quite happy to record the series onto VHS and then mail them to you if you could find no other alternative. Just let me know if it comes to that.

…My God. YES. *massive massive hug* Hopefully it won’t come to that, but thanks very much. :D

Is it just that you don’t have the right aerial? Or is it because it’s not available in your area? When I got my freeview box a couple of years ago, half the channels were missing (including ITV and channel 4), but after a while I found I was able to get them. So maybe you’ll be able to get BBC3 by August. I have no idea how much aerial upgrades cost, but if it is a huge amount, it might be worth installing a sky digibox without subscription, in which case you’d get all the freeview channels, plus all the random free sky channels like Al Jazeera. Or… you could find some other Torchwood fans and form a club where you get together and watch it someone’s house every week. Or you could peer through neighbour’s windows and watch it that way ^_^…

According to that website that you type your postcode into, it’s not available in the area. (Although I do get E4. ;) ) I like the club option. :D Sky digibox, eh? That sounds interesting…I’ll bear that in mind. :D
