We heard the noise of the explosion– on the BBC news website people were saying they heard it as far away as London.
My grandmother lives in Hemel Hempstead. I think she’s probably alright, though.

Imagine waking up and looking out your window to see that. It’d be like the apocolypse or something. At least it’s quite contained in the industrial estate, so hopefully not too many people have actually been caught up in it.

If you’ve got BBC News 24, watch that, they’ve got updates on it all. The pictures are horrific. I hope your Grandmother’s okay. :)

I just heard the news, they’re saying that people under the smoke-plume should stay indoors and it’s just reached us.
