Mother guilty over Shannon kidnap
What a bizarre story that turned out to be. Partly because I can’t for the life of me figure out how their plan would have had any sucess at all; they were going to release her in a busy market, but surely someone else would have spotted her before the kidnapper did, what with half the country looking out for her and all? So no reward money.
I was so relieved when Shannon was found, but I can’t help but wonder what sort of a life she’s going to have now. Hopefully she’ll be okay. Her family managed to leave quite an amazing trail of betrayal in their wake, though.
