@sarah531‘s themarysue article on gender and the ramniverse mmovies is a pretty good examination of peter’s behavior in this film. I think like she mentions Spider-man 3 shows Peter’s “evil” in an interesting way by having it highlight kinda of toxic male nerd bahaviour towards women
