“I’m afraid it’s spread to Facebook. Your mother informed me this morning, Perrie,” Natasha said. “Shall I read out some choice quotes?”

Perrie squirmed. “I…”

“Well, I’m going to anyway. Let’s see. Yesterday, on your own wall: “cant believe sum dumbasses think romeo and juliet is a fukin romance, he was a fukin idiot and she was a dumb slut who got people killed, just like the dumb sluts at this school”. Would you care to elaborate, Perrie?”

“I…” the unfortunate girl said again.

“Would you like to tell us who amongst your peers you consider a slut? It’s clear from the context you feel quite strongly about this issue. So who is it you were referring to?” Natasha Bear’s eyes burned right into her.

“Um,” Perrie’s eyes filled with tears. “No-one! I promise!”

“In that case, you’re going to write a letter to every single girl in this school. Not individually,” she added, as Perrie began to cry, “but a letter to the entire female population of the school, explaining why you felt the need to refer to them as sluts, and explaining why you will never do it again. You will also reread Romeo and Juliet, paying particular attention to the character of Juliet, and work this into your letter. It will be posted on the school noticeboard for two days, then I will grade it and hand it back to you. Am I clear?”

“Yes,” sniffed Perrie.
