So it turns out they’ve made a new version of The Secret Garden, one of my most beloved childhood books, AND I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW?! I must see it. Colin Firth as Lord Craven is absolutely perfect casting since he played an adult version of the character Colin in a previous adaption!
(also yeah, geez, I know the original book is so deeply problematic with regards to race, but it looks like this version has thrown that out of the window and cast some of the most important characters as POC, so… I think that’s probably good?)
