So, this evening I’m going to migrate a bunch more posts from my Twitter and Facebook and possibly Tumblr over to here. Slowly I’ve lowered my social media use and I wanna lower it more, but I don’t wanna wake up one day and find a bunch of my old memories, silly though they are, gone because a company decided to cancel my account altogether.
I believe that the whole Internet should be archived, ideally. Partly this is because a lot of my actual job relies on digging up old articles and forgotten facts but partly because I don’t like to think of important things being lost. Or even non-important things. Sometimes I even go through the Wayback Machine to bring posts back from the dead.
I suppose in a way this makes me…
