Vis a Vis companion erasure in Doctor Who, have you seen a post along the lines of ‘the Christmas special was obviously written for Clara but Jenna was busy with Victoria so they just had to put Bill in instead’? Because there wasn’t an obvious time he mentioned Regeneration and stuff to Bill and it was all a bit hmm to me because I liked Bill getting her finale like every other regen-companion and it felt a bit of a snub kind of thing -blackandbluemagpie

Oooh I’ve never seen that, no. But as with most ‘Obviously’ posts it’s not true! In SFX magazine for the Christmas special coverage Moffat says “I was 20 pages into the script. It was going quite well but I thought, ‘I want Bill to witness this. I want Bill to notice that they’re the same man. I want Bill to say things to him.” No Clara!

So that post probably has an ulterior motive of some kind, booo.
