In our new day and age of INCLUSIVE “intersectional feminism”, the word woman is now so offensive that we must erase the link between ‘woman’ and female biological functions, such as menstruation, to accommodate a minority. On top of this, we still have to save the planet and feel ashamed of our use of sanitary products. The new wave of misogyny…
What the actual fuck?????
What does it actually affect you that it says “person who menstruates” instead of “woman”???? God forbid it be inclusive in a way that harm NOBODY.
But really, the whole rant is so stupid, like did this person do any research at all? Look at the product, AT ALL? Because YES non-disposable pads need to be changed out like regular pads/tampons, and I completely understand that being in public and having to deal with that is a major drawback. BUT THATS NOT WHAT THESE ARE AT ALLLLLL. They’re panties. That you can wear without pads or tampons. They hold up to 2 pads worth of blood, and when you get home you just put them in the laundry.
Why is that such a problem? I even get the whole “carnage” thing, but just don’t wear the panties that day???? If one or two days out of SEVEN is sooo bad you have have pads that’s okay, it also leaves five to six days where you could use this product???
Like, just, stupid people wanting to complain without spending five seconds to actually think about it. That’s all this is. And then hating on trans/nonbinary people for no fucking reason.
I don’t know where the liner stuff at work comes from (other than the individual didn’t actually look at the product), but I’d also add that a convenience to something like Thinx or better yet Eva Wear is, y’know, not having the exorbitant expense of buying menstrual products every month for decades of my life. Bonus: saving additional money by not ruining numerous sheets and underwear with blood. I mean, if I have to wash bloody underwear anyway, I might as well save myself money and help the environment at the same time. Convenient.
