I’m worrying about the dumbest thing, but did the elephant live? Did they get it off the frozen Thames in time?

this is not a dumb thing. the elephant got off the Thames in plenty of time and then shortly afterwards she ran away from the circus to live in the country with those two acrobat women. she lived to a ripe old age and never had to walk on ice again.
