I’m a severely physically disabled 22 year old woman (medical reports linked) and was lent money by my friend to pay for relocation to a permanent home, following a tumultuous period when I was in hiding from serious medical abuse (message me for evidence).
My friend lives in a small town and has had to stay with her abusive uncle to attend university in Melbourne. This poses serious dangers to her. During an incident she witnessed in Oct 2016, her uncle hit his wife so hard that she fell to the floor, then punched his 17 year old son, who had to protect himself with a knife and has long faced repeated abuse from his father. My friend sincerely believed that her uncle would kill his wife and son, then kill her. She CANNOT return to this situation.
An alternative apartment needs to be found before her uni semester recommences and this requires money. The remaining $1,379 I owe her (incl. gofundme fees) absolutely must be raised before the Stripe transfer at 8pm EST today or she will not find a safe home in time.
