I knew Lewis would be gay, simply because of how unrealistic it would be for the last handful of people on earth to be straight. That doesn’t always equal “character actually confirmed gay” but hooray for representation! I hope we learn more about his past, I assume the partner he mentioned died of the virus but we just don’t know
Melissa very obviously has serious PTSD now, she’s a long way away from the Melissa we first met, and I hope someone intervenes soon because she’s literally gonna get herself killed
it turns out episode 3×06 is gonna be called “The Open-Ended Nature Of Unwitnessed Death” so we’re finally (presumably) gonna get some answers/closure about Mike’s death/’death’!
God I really love this show you guys. Season one is a far FAR cry from what it turned into, which was something that ticked absolutely every bloody box on my Things I Love In Fiction list, namely ‘found family who will barely admit they’re family but can’t manage without each other’, ‘beautiful apocalypse aesthetics’, ‘female lead who is unconventional in both looks and behaviour but is the heart of the show’ and ‘genuinely heart-wrenching tragedy’. I REALLY wish it had a bigger fandom.
