Update – I have half an hour left to raise $356
(earlier update contained an error) I’m severely disabled and bedbound from an accident in Sep 2012. My neurological condition prevents me from being able to be upright without causing grave physical harm, and I’m also too weak to sit up independently. See @fundraiser-evidence for medical reports. Government services currently do not cover the vast majority of my healthcare and living expenses.
Because of the extent of my disability, I can’t do things like cleaning my own room. As a consequence, I need to pay for daily home care. It will cost about $400 to cover this until the end of the week (7th Aug).
Without that assistance, my living conditions will eventually become
deplorable and I could lose my accommodation. I also need to make a $200 payment for a paramedic transport invoice + will need about $200 for things like food, pharmacy purchases, etc. This is rather urgent and at least $600 AUD of this would need to be raised today, by 5pm 3rd Aug in Sydney / 3am 3rd Aug in NYC, before bank closing time.ETA – I can’t keep my eyes open for long without causing cognitive
disability, hearing loss and tinnitus. I’m struggling to express myself
properly. A lot of this has to do with poverty and it has to do with the
physical energy expended on promoting this fundraiser in the past year
