I don’t do this. I was SHSL hesitant about doing this, but I don’t really have a choice..
So I’m homeless now.
I was living with my mother. The apartment we lived in was in a 2 family home and our old landlord sold it. The new landlord desperately wanted us out and she hatched a scheme to put us out.
She stopped collecting rent for 2 months and then sued my mother saying that she wasn’t getting rent. Trying to say we were bad tenants. (My mom had the money and was contacting the landlord to pay the rent. But she avoided my mom for the 2 months when she decided to pull this.)
When it went to court, my mom (who is legally disabled) was able to prove that she was able to pay and attempted to pay the landlord. The ultimate court ruling still ended up in the landlord’s favor (presumably because they give 0 fucks). My mother told the judge she has nowhere to go and the judge just responded with: “stay with a relative or something.”
Even before this new landlord took over, we’d been trying to move. My state is expensive, so we were trying to look for a house instead of another apartment. House deals fell through. Then we started looking for apartments. This new landlord KNEW WE WERE TRYING TO MOVE OUT ANYWAY. In the ruling, mom was ordered to move out in 7 days, pay the landlord the 2 months, and court fees.
All our money to move was gone just like that.
We don’t have family who can take us in.
We can’t get any aid because my mom isn’t poor enough. Same with everyone else in the house. We’re not “poor enough” for shelters or assistance.
There’s so much more to this story, but I don’t want to keep rambling and have people reading a fucking novel. I have depression with suicidal tendencies and just reflecting on the year since I got out the mental hospital in January is just making me feel worse.
I just…we need money and anything anyone can donate, if they’re willing to, can help.
Right now, we all had to separate. I’m staying with a friend who was willing to take in just me until August. No one really wants to take 4 adults into their home..
So as of right now, come August, the only place we have to live is our car..

I’d hope to be able to still pay my bills (I’m not working because school takes up too much time. I’m in the middle of a summer course.) and maybe if possible, get enough for a deposit on a new apartment.
I’ve needed money for a long time and tried to do writing commissions, but I really can’t bring myself to do writing requests..
