yeah, i see what you mean! and i agree — post books, i don’t ship him with anyone, but i see him the way i see a lot of half-sympathetic bad guys: he could have been a better person, if a few different choices had been made, and looking into those potentialities is fascinating to me. -darkphoenext

That seems fair. I think a lot of people see Kylo the same way, although honestly I don’t feel I know enough about him and his turn to the dark side to give him much sympathy (this may well change in Episode VIII, though.)
