- do not repost someone else’s edits, i can’t believe this has to be said so often. you’d think not stealing something should be an obvious choice here, but alas.
- if you use someone’s edit as a sidebar, an update tab image or literally anything else don’t forget to credit the artist on your blog. it’s only polite
- again, do not repost (and yes, uploading someone’s work and tagging it as ‘#not mine’ is also considered a repost). besides, reblogging is way easier
- do not, for the love of god, delete the caption under the edit. the artist put it there for a reason. maybe it goes with the edit, maybe it completes it in some way, maybe it’s a tiny picture of a cat in a christmas hat, i don’t care, it’s not your place to delete it cause you didn’t put it there in the first place.
- i don’t care the caption doesn’t ‘go with your theme’ if that’s the case just don’t reblog it and problem solved
- not to mention a lot of themes have the ‘hide caption’ button. you’re just being a dick
- someone else’s edit is not a place for you to vent your frustrations. don’t insult the artist, don’t add a long ass comment about how you hate this character/ship. just don’t. go outside, play with a puppy. get a life
