I really do hope that with the recent civil rights decision (and common sense), studios become open to the idea of making movies starring anything other than heterosexual couples so people don’t have to resort to shipping emotions inside an 11 year old girl, or two sisters like they did with Frozen. Well I seriously disagree with incest in all fandoms (unless it’s like Game of Thrones where it’s a canon thing and you can’t really avoid it), but I don’t really see anything wrong with shipping the emotions in Inside Out since from what I can tell (from, er, the trailer) the emotions seem to be essentially adults anyway, looking like adults and played by adults etc? Cartoons are a weird area, but I’m not sure I’d put it on the same level as Anna/Elsa.

Still, hopefully Pixar/Disney cartoon-shipping discussion will finally get a new dimension when Frozen 2 hooks Elsa up with a Fire Princess and they get married. It could happen.
