In what sense do you mean “the wider Middle-Earth”? Because I’ve never finished* Return of the King but I have read the Silmarillion and a lot of First Age fanfic so I theoretically could help.

More sort of the day-to-day life thing – how women dealt with childbirth, what sort of duties the nobility have when there isn’t a war on, which servants look after the children…that sort of thing! Also names. God I’m terrible at thinking up middle-earthy names.
